Blue lotus /bluː/ /ˈloʊ.t̬əs/

The blue lotus is a powerful symbol in many ancient cultures. It appears in Egyptian hieroglyphs as well as in Buddhist and Hindu traditions, and it represents:

  • rebirth

  • the victory of spirit over the senses

  • the triumph of wisdom

  • the soul's expansion

  • the ability to blossom and become liberated
